Breakfast at the hotel, and a day excursion by minibus to Pisa and Vinci.

The morning is dedicated to Pisa, with its leaning tower; undoubtedly one of the most recognizable buildings in the world. Its ability to capture the imagination has drawn visitors from around the world for many years. However, its spectacular location in the Piazza dei Miracoli, with its fabulous Duomo, Battistero, and Camposanto, provides the visitor with a new perspective.

Pisa's long history as a maritime city state with a powerful naval force is no longer obvious to the uneducated eye, but its past glory is reflected in the awe-inspiring Piazza dei Miracoli.

Lunch on the go.

From Pisa, a short drive takes the tour to the small hill town of Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. In this beautiful and well-preserved little spot is the house where Leonardo was born, as well as two museums dedicated to the inventions of the artist. After visiting the village, the tour group will enjoy a wine tasting at a local winery.

Dinner at a local farmhouse in Montalbano, outside of Pistoia. Return the to hotel.
